Welcome to the links page. Links posted here are in no particular order and touch on a variety of subject matter. Each link I post has some personal and special meaning and relevance for me and so I believe them to be noteworthy and share-worthy. I believe this to be a collection of gems, but then I know all too well that value is a subjective thing … I wish for you that you might also find a pearl or two in here ;) (the image-thumbnails serve as links)

Art With Soul: I met Louis maybe around the middle of 2009 – I was still working in the city of London and he had a display  of his artwork in the foyer of Tower 42 – large oil canvases with images that seemed to draw me like a magnet!! Ever since then I have kept an eye on his work and the Art With Soul developments, I have friends who have fallen in love with the work he creates and one who has a personalised sketch created by Louis – she refers to it as “Perfect”!! Click on the image (one of my personal favourites of his creations) and it will take you through to his site :) ~ ENJOY! as I am quite sure you will! ~ Tina

Reading Material: For many Paulo Coelho needs no introduction, but then, for many he just might. It was sometime in 2009 that one of my clients suggested one of his books to me, The Alchemist . Since then I have read almost all of Paulo’s books and thoroughly enjoyed them each. He goes to the core of what our life is really all about, dealing with so many matters that lie deep at the heart and soul of our existence as physical, spiritual and cerebral beings … and he does it all in the wonderful form of “stories” … An inspiration and joy!

Wedding Photography: I am not even sure anymore where or how I linked with Yannis, but I have a lot of respect for the work he delivers, and he is such a likeable man that if you were after a professional wedding photographer in Greece, and I couldn’t take on the assignment, I’d surely suggest contacting Yannis. Again, the images serves as link to his website – go on, have a browse and dream that dream :)

Spirituality: Again, I cannot quite remember where or when I came across Adyashanti’s teachings but I have found them to be profound! Instead of trying to put anything in my own words, here a quote from his own site: “Adyashanti’s nondual teachings have been compared to those of the early Zen masters and Advaita Vedanta sages. Expressing both the infinite possibilities and the ordinary simplicity of a spiritually realized life, Adyashanti’s teachings are directed to those who are sincerely called to awaken to their true nature and embody this life-changing realization.”

Communication & Connection: The work of Marshall Rosenberg, Non-Violent Communication, was suggested to me by a dear friend in France, a lavender farmer in Provence who is thoroughly living his dream :) At the time I thought “but I don’t use violence!” … It is several years ago that I first read the book, and it is in more recent months that I have acquired the entire library of work on this subject of communication and human connection. I have often found it difficult to live by these principles of compassionate communication with self and others,  but I do believe it to be one of my most worthwhile efforts yet. Here a brief description from Marshall Rosenberg’s own site: “NVC begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies—whether verbal or physical—are learned behaviors taught and supported by the prevailing culture. NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs, and that each of our actions are a strategy to meet one or more of these needs.”

Travel: It is through the sphere of work that I have gotten to know African Space and although I have not yet traveled with them myself, I do believe to have gotten to know them really rather well.  Having lived in Africa for 23 years of my own life, I of course have a particular interest in their destinations, but beyond that, what I really appreciate is their social consciousness and their passion and interested in what they do!

Nutrition: You see, my mother had been persistently and increasingly unwell as a young woman, and so she began to research natural approaches to health and wellness and she progressively implement the knowledge she gained. And she wasn’t taking any chances with us kids – she went to great lengths to make sure we’d eaten our fruit and veg and wholesome meals etc etc. It is through my mother’s never ending quest for nutritional advice and information that I learned of Peter D’Adamo’s blood type diet. I’m not trying to sell you anything here, but if you’ve been looking for solutions and haven’t found ‘em yet, you might just want to give this a whirl, you know? Why share a link of this nature here? I guess ’cause I have conversations pertaining to health and wellness with friends and acquaintances so often (and I actually mean physical, mental and spiritual health and wellness here), so I thought it may well be of interest.

An Approach to Life: I came across Mike Dooley in The Secret After having read the book I decided to look up the individual “teachers” contained within it.  I wanted to see what their lives look like, you know, practical application of the Secret and all the rest. I liked Mike’s material, watched some online interviews, decided to subscribe to his ever humorous and incredibly encouraging and uplifting Notes from the Universe and I’ve since also met him at one of his workshops in London! What’s his message, distilled into one short phrase? Thoughts Become Things! I couldn’t agree more!

DAB and Internet Radio: Let’s “say” it in their own words rather ;)

“PASSION for the PLANET is a mainstream champion of ethical living. By ethical living we mean the individual choosing the best options relevant to their circumstances. PASSION for the PLANET’s mission is to provide the information necessary to make those choices, and to deliver that information in an attractive, inspiring, intriguing and entertaining package. PASSION for the PLANET is built on two beliefs …
* health & environment is the new rock & roll
* man doesn’t live by locally sourced, ethically produced, organic bread alone, we still need the rock & roll
There’s no preaching, no chanting, no tips on knitting your own muesli.”

Mark and Angel Hack Life: Must be my favourite blog! In fact, over time I have subscribed to many blogs and generally it’s just been a matter of time before I unsubscribed again! This one has remained a gem and invariably I look forward to new posts arriving in my inbox! Just always gets me thinking, you know?! Couldn’t ask for more! :)

British Journal of Photography: Again, if photography interests you in any way, this site is bursting with useful information and I found their e-mail newsletter to be most useful!
